China Campus Network (CCN) is a consortium of 37 renowned Chinese universities, committed to providing international students with a one-stop service before, during and after their studies in China.

AS THE BIGGEST FOUNDATION PROVIDER, CCN is currently operating in 13 countries through its global offices in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa.

Since it’s establishment in 2016, CCN has been working with government and industrial partners worldwide, fulfilling its mission of promoting trade and investment through education, while empowering a young generation of talents with digital capacities and a global mindset.

Achievements

A Well-developed System for
International Foundation Education

Through its International Foundation Programme (IFP), CCN has developed a successful system of foundation education to fully prepare international students for their Chinese-taught degree studies in China, linguistically, academically and culturally.

IFP is jointly recognised by 37 member universities in China. Students who have successfully completed IFP will be admitted to CCN member universities based on their IFP final results as sole criteria.

Between academic years of 2016/17 and 2022/23, more than 3,600 international students have completed IFP and progressed to CCN member universities successfully for their degree studies, many of whom have been awarded scholarships for their academic excellence.

An Extensive Network of
Global Campuses

The IFP programmes are currently delivered at 6 IFP Study Centres in China and abroad, where students around the world can join IFP study through easy access to a huge variety of resources offered by CCN.

There are more than 200 IFP teaching staff delivering IFP courses across CCN IFP Centres globally in the academic year of 2022/23. As the biggest teaching community of foundation education in China, whilst 50% of them are highly qualified in teaching Chinese to international students, another 50% are experienced subject teachers who are specialised in teaching international students subjects before they starting degree studies at universities.

Driven by digitalisation, CCN Digital Campus has been established to facilitate teaching and learning on offline campuses worldwide since 2020. The CCN Digital Campus is one of the most important strategic resources to enhance IFP teaching effectiveness as well as students’ learning experience.

A Diverse Ecosystem for
Global Talents Development

Following its mission of promoting trade and investment through education, CCN has developed a diverse ecosystem for global talents development. With committed partners in China and abroad, it aims to empower strategic collaboration between Chinese universities and government and industrial partners globally. Resources from higher education institutions and global governments and industries have been successfully integrated to grow local talents, who are in great demands for local economic development and for promoting trade and investment with China.

As a highly trusted partner, CCN has entered into collaboration with Mexican government from 2018 and Mongolia Government from 2022 on Talents Development Initiatives.

In 2017, CCN initiated the establishment of the University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA) with a group of leading Chinese companies with global ambition at the. Ever since, there have been an increasingly number of Chinese companies joining UEA, with the mission of growing international local talents and connecting talents with industries.

2023
September

CCN warmly welcomed nearly 300 IFP Route A students from across the globe. With a size almost three times that of Route B and C batches combined, this IFP group signifies a remarkable turning point in the post-pandemic time. This enormous expansion is a true testament to the enduring strengths and benefits that IFP provides to students, as well as CCN’s strong commitment to a vibrant future of studying in China.

August

On August 29th, the Annual Conference of CCN was held at Guizhou University as part of the 2023 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. It marked the first conference in three years following the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference focused on summarizing the practices conducted by CCN in the past three years, while exploring strategic plans for the future.
On August 28th, 2023, jointly initiated by CCN and UEA, the International Forum on “Creative Future Youth, Borderless Digital Brands – Development of New Global Talents through Government-Industry-University Collaboration” was held during the opening period of the 2023 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week.

CCN welcomes the first batch of IFP students to study offline in China after the COVID-19 pandemic

March

On March 4th, 2023, the 2023 CCN Management Meeting was successfully held in Shanghai. It was the first offline meeting of CCN’s core management team since the reopening of the national borders in January 2023.
2022
August

In response to the changing trends in international HE, the International Borderless Campus (IBC) was jointly launched by China Campus Network (CCN) and “Belt and Road” Talents Cultivation University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA) on 23 August during the 2022 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (CAECW), with a strategic focus on promoting inter-university collaboration between CCN members and global universities.

January

The project of “Government-led Initiative, University-Enterprise Cooperation” between the Mongolian governments and CCN member universities was officially launched.
2021
The total number of international students who have studied the CCN IFP programme reached 3,000.
2020
The IFP Digital Campus was launched by CCN to facilitate IFP teaching and learning online.

CCN started to offer online teaching for the IFP programme to help students continue their study during COVID.
2019
The project of “Government-led Initiative, University-Enterprise Cooperation” between the Mexican governments and CCN member universities was officially launched. The signing ceremony held during the 12th China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week in Guiyang in July 2019.

The CCN Overseas Entrance Test (OET) was held in the Mexico City in July 2019, which marked the first international students' university entry test conducted by a group of Chinese universities outside of China.

The textbook of Chinese for Special Purposes (CSP) was developed for IFP students, which marked a major milestone for IFP Programme Development.
2018
CCN’s operation was expanded to 13 countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa.

The number of CCN member universities was expanded to 37, covering most of the regions in China.
2017
February

The CCN International Foundation Programme (IFP) was successfully accredited by all CCN Academic Committee.

July

The first cohort of 56 IFP students graduated with excellent academic results.
The “Belt and Road” Talents Cultivation University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA) was established during the 10th China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week by China-ASEAN Education Training Alliance, CCN and leading Chinese companies
