CCN Welcomes the First Batch of IFP Students to Study Offline in China After the Pandemic

时隔三年半，在这明媚灿烂、鲜花盛开的5月, CCN迎来了疫情后首批预科新生！43名来自马来西亚、印度尼西亚、泰国、迪拜等国的B路径预科学生顺利抵达西安交通大学、西安石油大学、西北工业大学CCN国际预科中心，开启他们崭新的留学中国之旅。6月和9月，CCN还将陆续迎来近400名左右来自俄罗斯、印度尼西亚、泰国、蒙古、越南、墨西哥、波兰等国家的预科新生，这些学生将进入哈尔滨工业大学、黑龙江大学、江苏大学、天津大学、西安交通大学、西安石油大学、西北工业大学CCN国际预科中心，开展CCN国际预科项目的线下学习。
In the sunny and flower-filled month of May, after three and a half long years of pandemic and online classes, CCN welcomed the first batch of foundation students coming to China. 43 Route B students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Dubai and other countries successfully arrived to the campuses of CCN International Foundation Programme (IFP) Centers Host Universities, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an Shiyou University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University, where they will begin their journey of studying in China.
In June and September, CCN will welcome nearly 400 new foundation students from Russia, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Vietnam, Mexico, Poland and other countries, that will enter CCN IFP Centers at 7 different Host Universities, Harbin Institute of Technology, Heilongjiang University, Jiangsu University, Tianjin University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an Shiyou University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University, to start offline learning of the CCN International Foundation Programme.
We are looking forward to receiving more and more CCN students from all over the world in China!
这43名预科新生，既包括汉语母语水平来攻读CCN国际预科B3路径的马来西亚同学，也包括汉语达到HSK3级及以上水平攻读CCN国际预科B1路径的印度尼西亚、泰国与迪拜同学。
这些同学们怀揣着各自的梦想，为“终于”可以前往向往已久的中国，开启CCN国际预科项目的线下学习兴奋不已；并在CCN各国办事处同事的指导与帮助下，为顺利抵达中国做好了准备。各CCN国际预科中心老师们与CCN工作人员一起，怀着期待的心情，提前为迎接同学们做好了全面充分的准备。工作人员从机场开始，用热情的笑脸欢迎他们，用贴心的服务温暖他们。
The 43 new students include Malaysian students who will study CCN`s Route B3 suitable for students of Native speaker Chinese level and Indonesian, Thai and Dubai students who have reached HSK level 3 or above and will study CCN`s Route B1.
Full of dreams and hopes, the students were excited to FINALLY travel to China and start their study of the CCN International Foundation Program offline. With the guidance and help of colleagues from our CCN Local Offices, they smoothly arrived in China, where they were met by well-prepared teachers of CCN IFP Centres and CCN staff. We first met the students at the airport welcoming them with smiling faces and caring service.
同学们大都是第一次离开自己的国家，千里迢迢来到中国，部分学生的家长不放心孩子独自远行，同时也希望亲自到中国看看孩子的大学，看看孩子生活的城市，感受中国经济的发展，于是陪同孩子一起来了。而我们也会把家长照顾好，让大家都安心。
Most of the students left their country for the very first time and traveled thousands of miles away from home to China. A couple of parents accompanied the students on this journey, hoping to personally visit China, see the universities and cities where their children will live and study, and feel the development of China’s economy. And we will take good care of parents so that everyone can rest assured.
CCN 国际预科中心的老师们为即将到来的学生们提前做好了宿舍的准备，确保即便凌晨抵达的学生也能顺利入住。抵达校园后的学生们受到了学长学姐们的热烈欢迎，并在CCN学生大使的帮助下顺利完成了入住。设计科学、配置齐全的中心宿舍，将成为同学们在预科学习期间的温暖小屋。
CCN IFP Centre teachers inspected and prepared the dormitories in advances, ensuring that even the students who arrived in the early hours of the morning can move in right away. Upon arrival at the campus, the students were warmly welcomed by the seniors and successfully completed their check-in with the help of CCN Student Ambassadors. The carefully designed and well-equipped dormitories will become a new home for the students during their foundation studies.
同学们需要的生活用品能很方便地在校园内或校园附近的超市与商店内购买到，价格实惠，而且绝对的“中国制造”。
CCN学生大使带着同学们办理了手机卡和银行卡，并开通了支付宝与微信支付，有了这些支付工具，同学们就都迫不及待地开始体验闻名世界的中国在线支付的便捷，从超市到自动贩卖机、从餐厅支付到饿了吗外卖、从共享单车到地铁，带一部手机就能走遍全中国。
The students were impressed by the convenience offered to them on campus. The daily necessities can be easily purchased in supermarkets and stores on campus or near by, with affordable prices and products absolutely being “Made in China“.
The CCN Student Ambassadors took the students to apply for mobile phone SIM cards, get bank accounts and open Alipay and WeChat Pay. With these payment tools, students are equipped to start experiencing the convenience of China’s world-famous online payment, from supermarkets to vending machines, from restaurant payment to takeaway, from shared bicycles to subways, they can travel all over China with just their mobile phone.
在预科中心老师的指导下，在CCN工作人员与学生大使的帮助下，同学们一步一步有序地完成了入学注册，正式成为开启在中国线下学习的留学生。
在随后举行的迎新说明会上，老师们向同学们讲解了在学校学习与生活的一些注意事项。同学们了解了在CCN国际预科项目（IFP）学习期间应该遵守的规则与注意的事项，他们非常憧憬未来几个月的预科乃至未来几年的本科学习与生活。
看到这些可爱的面孔，看到他们怀揣着梦想来到中国，顺利开启了IFP的线下学习，并且很快结交了新朋友，我们感到很开心也很放心。
Under the guidance of the CCN IFP Centre teachers and with the help of CCN staff and Student Ambassadors, the students completed the enrollment procedures step by step and officially became international students ready to begin their foundation study in China.
At the orientation meeting, the teachers explained all the important information and facts about studying and living at a Chinese university. The students learned the rules and regulations to follow during their IFP studies, looking forward to the next few months of foundation as well as the next few years of undergraduate studies and student life.
We were extremely happy to see the students` smiling faces, as they have come to China, successfully started offline learning at the CCN IFP Centres and began to make friendships and experiences that will last a life-time.
感谢CCN国际预科中心院校的领导和老师们的组织安排，时隔三年半，疫情后首批预科新生们顺利地开启了他们在中国的留学生活。留学之旅必定充满着新奇，有无限精彩的同时，也充满了挑战。祝愿他们能够在老师们的耐心教导下学习与成长，走好留学中国的每一步，不负青春好时光，成为促进两国经济社会发展的优秀青年。

After three and a half years, the first batch of foundation students successfully started their study in China after the pandemic. Their study abroad journey must be full of novelty, infinite excitement, but also full of challenges. We wish them successful learning and continues grow under the patient guidance of teachers, taking the studying in China process step by step, having a great time and becoming outstanding young people who will promote the economic and social development between China and their home countries.
