On May 22, 2023, the launch and signing ceremony of the “Industry Customized, School-Enterprise Alliance”Order-Based Talent-Cultivation Programme for studying abroad in China, in cooperation between China Campus Network (CCN), Jingdezhen Ceramic University (JCU) and Bat Trang Women Entrepreneurs & Artists Association (BTWEAA) was held at Jingdezhen Ceramic University.
“行业定制、校企合作” 留学中国预科教育联盟(CCN)、景德镇陶瓷大学(JCU)与钵场陶瓷女企业家与艺术家协会(BTWEAA)订单式人才培养项目,缘起于越南钵场女企业家与艺术家协会培养本地陶瓷艺术设计与陶瓷材料工程类专业人才的合作需求,留学中国预科教育联盟(CCN)为了陶瓷行业人才定制化培养、填补联盟成员院校专业空白而特殊邀请景德镇陶瓷大学作为项目合作院校,依托CCN越南办事处和“一带一路”人才培养校企联盟平台,链接越南钵场女企业家与艺术家协会,按照“联合选拔、联合资助、联合培养”的合作模式,开展陶瓷艺术设计与陶瓷材料专业的订单式人才联合培养项目,为越南钵场本地培养掌握该领域理论知识和专业技能、熟知中国商业环境与数字经济、具较高专业素养、跨文化沟通能力、战略思维及执行能力、能够胜任陶瓷艺术设计与陶瓷材料工程相关行业实际工作的高层次、复合型、应用型创新人才。
The “Industry Customized, University-Enterprise Alliance” Order-Based Talent-Cultivation Programme of China Campus Network (CCN), Jingdezhen Ceramic University (JCU) and Bat Trang Women Entrepreneurs & Artists Association (BTWEAA), originates from BTWEAA`s need for cultivating local ceramic art designers and ceramic material engineering professionals. Relaying on CN Vietnam Office and the “Belt and Road” Talent-Cultivation University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA) platform, China Campus Network (CCN)especially invited Jingdezhen Ceramic University that specializes in ceramic industry talent train in order to customize the training of talents in the ceramic industry and fill in the professional gap of the Member Universities of the alliance. According to the cooperation mode of “Joint Selection, Joint Funding, Joint Training”, there will be 2 joint order-based talent-cultivation UEA programmes, Ceramic Art Design programme and Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Engineering programme. It is hoped that this “Industry Customized, University-Enterprise Alliance” Order-Based Talent-Cultivation Programme cooperation will help Vietnam cultivate high-level, composite and application-oriented innovative talents, mastered in theoretical knowledge and professional skills, familiar with China’s business environment and digital economy, with high professional quality, cross-cultural communication skills, strategic thinking and execution ability, and competent for practical work in ceramic art design and ceramic material engineering related industries.

The launch and signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation was presided by Prof. Zhang Jingjing, Dean of the International College at Jingdezhen Ceramic University. Prof. Lv Jinquan, Vice President of JCU; Prof. Zhang Jingjing, Dean of the International College; Ms. Yang Jingsi, Vice Secretary-General of CCN; Ms. Wu Ruqiong, President of BTWEAA and other leaders and entrepreneurs attended the launch ceremony and signing of the contract. The launch ceremony was also attended by Zhan Wei, Vice Dean of the School of Fine Arts at Jingdezhen Ceramic University; Lu Lin, Vice Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering ay Jingdezhen Ceramic University; Ms. Cao Shuyang, Director of Operation at CCN; Ms. Li Miaoling, CEO of CCN Vietnam Office; Ms. Fan Jinling, Director of the Media Department at BTWEAA; Mr. Li Yushi, Manager of Vietnam Guangrong Ceramics Co., Ltd. and an alumnus of Jingdezhen Ceramic University with a master’s degree in Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Engineering; Ms. Nguyen Yun Anh, one of the founding members of BTWEAA and in charge of Thi Yun Ying Ceramics Factory; as well as many international students and parents from the CCN Vietnam Office – Bat Trang Women Entrepreneurs & Artists Association delegation.

At the launching ceremony, Prof. Lv Jinquan, Vice President of JCU, extended a warm welcome to the Bat Trang Women Entrepreneurs & Artists Association delegation, and delivered a speech on behalf of the Chinese university partner. Prof. Lv introduced that JCU is the only university in China to be named after ceramics and widely known as “Ceramic Whampoa”. JCU is an important base for ceramic talent training, ceramic science and technology innovation and ceramic culture and art exchange in China as well as the world. The university attaches great importance to the training of high-level international students in China, actively expanding university-enterprise cooperation to promote innovation and employment opportunities for international students in China, and is committed to giving full play to its professional advantages to serve the development of countries and local industries along the “Belt and Road” Initiative. He emphasized the university, relying on the “Belt and Road” Talent-Cultivation UEA platform, will cooperate with CCN as a Member University of ceramic industry talent training, and will support BTWEAA to carry out order-based talent-cultivation programme, hoping to give full strength to the university’s leading role in ceramic education and talent training, attracting new outstanding students from different countries and regions along the route, as well as train and deliver high-quality talents for further “Belt and Road” construction!

Prof. Zhang Jingjing, Dean of the International College at Jingdezhen Ceramic University (JCU), introduced the school`s education work with foreign student, as well as international ceramic art and culture promotion to the guests. The International College, being responsible for the education of foreign students and the International Ceramic Art Studio projects, has always been committed to building a diverse platform for international ceramic culture dissemination and actively establishing a university-enterprise collaborative education platform for international students studying in China. This time, based on BTWEAA`s cooperation needs for cultivating local talents in ceramic art design and ceramic material engineering, the school collaborated with the Vietnam association, relying on CCN and the “Belt and Road” Talent-Cultivation UEA platform. Following the cooperation model of “Joint Selection, Joint Funding, Joint Training,” the 3 parties launched joint talent-cultivation programmes in Ceramic Art Design programme and Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Engineering. Together with CCN, the college customized courses, diversified cultivation methods, and adopted flexible teaching approaches to train high-level, composite, and application-oriented innovative talents who possess theoretical knowledge and professional skills in the ceramic field, have a good understanding of China’s business environment and digital economy, possess high professional quality, cross-cultural communication skills, strategic thinking and execution ability, and are capable of practical work in ceramic art design and ceramic material engineering-related industries. Prof. Zhang firmly believes that this programmes will play an important role in promoting mutual learning, inclusiveness, and communication in the field of global ceramic education, fostering comprehensive and multi-level international cooperation and exchanges in this education field, and promoting the internationalization of ceramic talents.
钵场女企业家与艺术家协会会长武如琼女士,代表越南陶瓷行业人才需求合作方发言。她首先对主办方景德镇陶瓷大学与留学中国预科教育联盟的热情接待表示衷心的感谢。她介绍道,越南钵场拥有悠久的陶瓷发展历史,是越南国家非物质文化遗产;钵场女企业家与艺术家协会是以共同发展传统陶瓷工艺,促进越南在全球的商业合作,提高钵场女艺术家的技能和水平,培养下一代人才继承传统文化、促进产业发展为为目标建立的河内中小型企业协会(HAWASME)。她表示:非常高兴此次能够通过留学中国预科教育联盟与景德镇陶瓷大学开展陶瓷行业人才联合培养合作项目。她认为:这一项目是能够为越南钵场陶瓷行业人才的培养与发展提供语言、知识、技能、文化等全方位准备和从预科准备、学位学习与专业发展全过程的最合适的培养方案。她希望留学中国预科教育联盟和景德镇陶瓷大学能够为越南钵场的留学生在预科、本科乃至研究生阶段提供支持并创造发展条件;也承诺会选拔优秀学生引进项目,用好项目资源、获得最大成长,为联盟与学校添光增彩。
Ms. Wu Ruqiong, President of the Bat Trang Women Entrepreneurs & Artists Association (BTWEAA), spoke on behalf of the Vietnamese ceramic industry and its cooperation needs. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to JCU and the CCN for their warm reception. Ms. Wu introduced the rich history of ceramic development in Bat Trang, Vietnam, which is recognized as the country’s intangible cultural heritage. The association was established as a small and medium-sized enterprise association in Hanoi (HAWASME) with the goal of jointly developing traditional ceramic craftsmanship, promoting global business cooperation for Vietnam, improving the skills and level of female artists in Bat Trang, and cultivating the next generation of talents to inherit traditional culture and promote industry development. She expressed great pleasure in the collaboration between the BTWEAA and JCU through the China Campus Network for the joint cultivation of talents in the ceramic industry. She believed that this project would provide comprehensive preparation in language, knowledge, skills, and culture for the training and development of ceramic talents in Bat Trang, Vietnam, and that it was the most suitable training program covering the entire process from foundation courses to degree studies and professional development. She hoped that CCN and JCU would provide support and create development opportunities for Vietnamese students from Bat Trang at foundation, undergraduate, and even postgraduate level. She also promised to select outstanding students to participate in the project, make good use of project resources, and achieve maximum growth, thereby bringing honor and glory to the alliance and the university.
留学中国预科教育联盟(CCN)副秘书长杨静思女士,代表中方留学中国预科教育联盟发言。杨秘书长介绍了留学中国预科教育联盟CCN,作为中国最大的自费来华留学国际预科教育机构,以“贸易畅通、教育先行”为使命,在打造来华留学预科教育产品、推广留学中国新品牌、依托中国-东盟教育交流周平台发起建立“一带一路”人才培养校企联盟(University Enterprise Alliance,UEA),并推动政府、高校、企业进行教育合作和人才培养、打造“政府定制、校企合作”订单式人才培养合作模式方面已做出的探索与已取得的成绩。在全球14个国家设有办事处、在全国8所知名大学建立预科中心、已拥有3000+预科毕业生的CCN,通过不断的探索与实践,已初步建成大学、企业、政府等多层次的全球人才培养生态系统。她强调指出:越南市场是CCN在疫情期间新开拓的第14个市场,越南作为中国陶瓷第一大出口目的地,在陶瓷艺术与工艺方面有着悠久的历史,在陶瓷行业人才培养方面有着巨大的需求。此次CCN景德镇陶瓷大学与越南钵场女企业家和艺术家协会“陶瓷行业人才定制合作项目”是在“行业发展、教育先行”的理念指导下,采用“行业定制、校企合作”模式打造的、整合陶瓷艺术与制造专业知识、商务管理技能模块与行业实践机会的跨学科本科学位项目,培养兼具陶瓷艺术设计、制造能力与商业创业能力的创新型复合人才。她相信:该项目将为越南陶瓷行业定制、培养、储备创新创业人才,进而推动中越行业合作与交流。
Ms. Yang Jingsi, Vice Secretary-General of the China Campus Network (CCN), spoke on behalf of CCN. Ms. Yang introduced CCN as China’s largest international foundation provider for self-funded international students. With a mission of “facilitating trade and prioritizing education,” CCN has been actively involved in developing international pre-university education products, promoting the new brand of Study in China, and establishing the University-Enterprise Alliance (UEA) under the framework of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week. CCN has made explorations and achievements in promoting educational cooperation, talent cultivation, and creating a “government-customized, university-enterprise collaboration” talent training cooperation model, with offices in 14 countries worldwide, IFP foundation centers established at 8 renowned universities across China, and with over 3,000 foundation graduates. Through continuous exploration and practice, CCN has built a multi-level global talent cultivation ecosystem involving universities, enterprises, governments, and other stakeholders.
Ms. Yang emphasized that the Vietnamese market is the 14th market,which CCN has newly expanded into during the pandemic. As Vietnam is China’s largest export destination for ceramics and has a rich history in ceramic art and craftsmanship, there is a significant demand for talent development in the ceramic industry. The “Customized-Talent Cooperation Programmes in the Ceramic Industry” between CCN, JCU, and the BTWEAA is guided by the concept of “industry development with education at the forefront.” It adopts the “industry customized, university-enterprise collaboration” model to create interdisciplinary undergraduate degree programmes that integrate ceramic art and manufacturing knowledge, business management skills, and industry practice opportunities. The aim is to cultivate innovative and composite talents with expertise in ceramic art design, manufacturing capabilities, and business entrepreneurship. Ms. Yang believes that this project will contribute to the customization, cultivation, and reserve of innovative and entrepreneurial talents in the Vietnamese ceramic industry, thus promoting industry cooperation and exchange between China and Vietnam.
本次项目合作,聚焦陶瓷艺术设计与陶瓷材料工程专业的订单式人才联合培养。开幕典礼上,景德镇陶瓷大学美术学院詹伟副院长和材料科学与工程学院陆琳副院长分别介绍了景德镇陶瓷大学美院陶瓷艺术设计专业的优势以及在陶瓷艺术设计人才培养方面的特色,和材料科学与工程学院在陶瓷材料工程专业特别是无机非金属材料工程专业的优势以及在陶瓷材料工程人才培养方面的特色与取得的成就。
In this collaborative project, the focus is on the customized joint cultivation of talents in the field of ceramic art design and ceramic material engineering. At the launching ceremony, Vice Deans Mr. Zhan Wei from the College of Fine Arts and Ms. Lu Lin from the College of Materials Science and Engineering of JCU respectively introduced the advantages of the Ceramic Art Design programme in the College of Fine Arts and its distinctive features in cultivating talents in ceramic art design, they also highlighted the strengths of the College of Materials Science and Engineering in the field of ceramic material engineering, especially in the area of inorganic non-metallic material engineering, and the achievements made in cultivating talents in ceramic material engineering.
越南钵场陶瓷企业家、现越南光荣陶瓷有限公司经理黎玉石先生,作为景德镇陶瓷大学早期的越南留学生、无机非金属材料专业的硕士毕业生,本次也跟随CCN钵场陶瓷女企业家与艺术家协会代表团回到母校,参加此次开幕仪式,并代表校友发言。他对母校为自己创造的学习与发展机会表示衷心感谢,并表达了未来在本次项目合作的基础上,更多地承担起桥梁的作用,助力母校选拔推荐更多优秀的钵场学生,助力钵场家庭培养更多热爱陶瓷行业、具备陶瓷行业专业知识与技能、国际化视野和商业管理思维的事业继承人。
Mr. Le Yu Shi, a Vietnamese ceramic entrepreneur and manager of Vietnam Glory Ceramics Co., Ltd., a former Vietnamese student of JCU and a master’s graduate in Inorganic Non-metallic Materials, also joined as part of the CCN BTWEAA delegation to participate in the launching ceremony and deliver a speech on behalf of the alumni. He expresses heartfelt gratitude to JCU for providing him with learning and development opportunities, and he emphasizes his commitment to taking on a more bridging role based on this project collaboration. He aims to support the university in selecting and recommending more outstanding Bat Trang students and assisting Bat Trang families in nurturing successors who have a passion for the ceramic industry, possess professional knowledge and skills in the field, and have an international perspective and business management acumen.
最后,越南钵场女企业家与艺术家协会的创始成员之一、氏云英陶瓷厂的负责人阮云英女士作为家长代表发言。她高度评价了本次陶瓷行业人才培养合作项目,坚信该项目可以帮助自己的孩子打好坚实的职业发展基础,并分享了自己的长子将成为该项目的首批学生,参加2023-2024学年景德镇陶瓷大学无机非金属材料工程UEA项目的学习。
Finally, as a representative of the parents, Ms. Nguyen Yunying, in charge of Thi Yun Ying Ceramics Factory and one of the founding members of the BTWEAA, delivered a speech. She highly praised the collaboration programme for talent development in the ceramic industry and firmly believed that it would help her own child establish a solid foundation for their career development. She also shared that her eldest son would be one of the first students to participate in the UEA programme in Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Engineering at Jingdezhen Ceramic University starting from 2023-2024 academic year.

Cooperation between CCN, JCU, and the BTWEAA officially began with the launch and signing of the memorandums of cooperation. Together, through joint efforts the three parties will promote smooth implementation of order-based talent-cultivation programmes in the field of ceramic industry. We believe that within the framework of “Industry Customized, University-Enterprise Alliance” and following the cooperative mode of “joint selection, joint funding, and joint cultivation,” the three parties will work together to cultivate high-level, versatile, applied, and innovative talents for Bat Trang, Vietnam. These talents will possess professional knowledge and skills in the ceramic industry, have a good understanding of the Chinese business environment and digital economy, exhibit high professional qualities, cross-cultural communication abilities, strategic thinking, execution capabilities, and be competent in practical work related to ceramic art design and ceramic material engineering. They will also be adaptable to the requirements of the digital economy era.
在此次越南钵场女企业家、艺术家协会代表团来访后,留学中国预科教育联盟(CCN)将尽快推进景德镇陶瓷大学携江西省女陶艺家代表团出访越南,进一步拓展与越南陶瓷行业协会的合作,将行业人才定制的模式更好地复制扩展到印度尼西亚、泰国等其他东盟国家,并计划在今年8月下旬举行的2023中国-东盟教育交流周平台上展示“行业定制、校企合作”人才联合培养模式的成果。
After the visit of the BTWEAA delegation from Vietnam, CCN will promote a return-visit of Jingdezhen Ceramic University and the delegation of female ceramic designers from Jiangxi Province to Vietnam as soon as possible, further expanding the cooperation with the Vietnam Association. China Campus Network will replicate the model of customizing talents for specific industries to Indonesia, Thailand and other ASEAN countries, and plans to showcase the results of this “industry customized, university-enterprise cooperation” joint talent cultivation model at the 2023 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week in late August later this year.
