CCN Welcomes 2024 Route A IFP Students: A New Academic Chapter Begins with IFP 2.0!

September 2024 — China Campus Network (CCN) was thrilled to kick off the International Foundation Programme (IFP) for nearly 300 Route A students. The majority of students, coming from all corners of the globe—including Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, and Poland—have already safely arrived at one of the five CCN IFP Centres, while a small group will start their studies online and arrive in early October.
本月初，留学中国预科教育联盟（CCN）迎来近300名A路径学生。这些学生在CCN五大预科中心完成注册报道后，将马上开始国际预科项目（IFP）的学习，这也将是他们来华留学之旅的首段旅程。同学们分别来自全球10余个国家，包括俄罗斯、白俄罗斯、吉尔吉斯斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦、印度尼西亚、越南、泰国、墨西哥和波兰等。此外，部分同学将于10月份抵达中国，但在此之前，他们也将同步开启IFP的线上学习。
In recent days, Jiangsu University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Tianjin University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Xi’an Shiyou University have welcomed students who are ready to settle in and embark on a new academic chapter.
CCN的五大预科中心分别位于江苏大学、西北工业大学、天津大学、西安交通大学和西安石油大学内，各校都已顺利完成迎新准备工作，将为CCN学生在华学习和生活提供全方位的支持。
Arrival | 到达
Thanks to our dedicated CCN Local Offices, the students participated in Arrival Training in the previous weeks and were well prepared for their journey to China, ensuring that their arrival was smooth and well-coordinated. For many of the students, this marks their first major international adventure. Some were accompanied by their parents and family, who not only supported their children but also took the opportunity to explore China’s vibrant culture and dynamic economic landscape. In China, CCN staff, CCN IFP Centre teachers, and CCN International Student Ambassadors were on hand at airports across various cities to give them a warm welcome.
对很多新生来说，这是他们的第一次跨国旅行，对一切都充满了好奇和期待。为保证迎新工作有序进行，来自CCN各国办公室的同事们也加入了迎新团队，一路陪伴同学们飞抵中国。同时，部分同学的家长也一起来到中国，想借此机会多多了解这个充满经济活力的国家，并亲身体验中国文化。CCN为各城市的接机服务做了精心安排，因此，到达机场后，新同学们得到了各个预科中心老师和学生大使们的热烈欢迎。
Dormitory Check-In | 宿舍入住
Upon reaching campus, students were guided through the check-in process by the ISAs, alongside our on-site staff. Students then proceeded to settle in and began personalizing their spaces, creating a welcoming home-away-from-home environment for their year of study ahead.
到达校园后，新同学们在国际学生大使和现场工作人员的帮助下完成了宿舍入住登记，顺利安顿下来。设施齐全、个性化的宿舍空间，为同学们即将开启的IFP预科之旅，提供了一个舒适温馨的学习生活环境。
Settling-In | 校园适应
During the first couple of days on campus, CCN Student Ambassadors, coordinated and supported by on-site CCN staff, played an instrumental role in assisting new students with various essential tasks. They guided students through the registration process at the university and helped them acquire SIM cards, set up bank accounts, and activate Alipay and WeChat Pay. The students also explored the campus and its various facilities, from teaching buildings to canteens, gyms, and parks, during an insightful campus tour led by their seniors.
新生们到达校园后的前几天，CCN 学生大使和CCN工作人员为他们提供了细心周到的支持服务，协助大家完成了各种事务，包括大学注册、办理电话卡、开设银行账户、激活支付宝和微信支付等。同学们还在学长的带领下，熟悉了校园环境，参观了教学楼、食堂、健身房和公园等校园设施。
CCN Orientation Lecture | CCN迎新讲座
CCN’s dedicated academic management staff provided a thorough orientation with important information related to both academic and daily life at Chinese universities. Students received essential regulations and advice that will guide them throughout their IFP studies, setting the stage not only for the upcoming months of foundation but also for their future degree studies.
CCN学术管理团队为新同学们开展了一场精彩的迎新讲座，内容涵盖了同学们在中国大学内日常学习、生活紧密相关的重要信息。此外，讲座还介绍了IFP规章制度，并为新生学习IFP提供了相关指导和建议，为其预科学习以及未来的专业学习奠定了基础。
